Safe water distribution at the 2010 Expo
The Expo 2010 represents Shanghai’s hope to build a powerful and lasting pilot example of sustainable and urban living. Shanghai South Water Company Limited will be responsible for supplying water for all pavilions in the 2010 Expo site which covers 1.35 square kilometres and is located west of Huangpu River. Instrument Minimising leakage and optimising water pressure, Czech Republic
The Municipality of Gánovce has encountered a high leakage in their water pipe network over a longer period of time. Consequently, MIKE URBAN was chosen to develop a hydrodynamic model of the pipeline network for the entire municipality. Want to read more? Click here.

Efficient water distribution in Dushanbe, Tajikistan
The city of Dushanbe often suffers from lack of water due to failures of the pumping stations. Inadequate location of water pumping stations means that the water supply tanks are not an integral part of the network system. This combined with the enormous pressure on the water supply system makes it difficult to guarantee continues delivery by balancing hourly inequalities of water demand. Want to read more? Click here

Optimised water supply system in Val di Susa, Italy
Val di Susa faced the challenge of ensuring sufficient water capacity to meet future water demand. As the host for the Winter Olympic Games in 2006, the need for water would increase pressure on the water distribution network capacity.
